This year the conference will take place over the weekend of 19th and 20th of November at the CQ Function Centre, Melbourne, Australia.

About Ruxcon

Ruxcon is a computer security conference that aims to bring together the best and the brightest security talent within the Aus-Pacific region. The conference is a mixture of live presentations, activities and demonstrations presented by security experts from the Aus-Pacific region and invited guests from around the world. Ruxcon is widely regarded as a leading computer security conference within Australia attracting all facets of the security landscape from industry, academics, to enthusiasts.

Ruxcon presentations run for one hour, cover a diverse range of topics, and are presented by credible local and international speakers. Attendees have the opportunity to meet new people, either socially during the lunch or drink breaks, or during the many activities and competitions held over the weekend. These competitions will allow novices to improve their basic skills, while experts can test their skills against their peers, with everyone having the opportunity of winning prizes and having some fun.

  What is Ruxcon ?

Ruxcon is the premier technical computer security conference in the Australia-Pacific region. The conference aims to bring together the individual talents of the best and brightest security folk in the region, through live presentations, activities and demonstrations.

The conference is held over two days in a relaxed atmosphere, allowing attendees to enjoy themselves whilst networking within the community and expanding their knowledge of security.

Live presentations and activities will cover a full range of defensive and offensive security topics, varying from previously unpublished research to required reading for the security community.

Presentation Information

Presentations are set to run for 50 minutes, and will be of a formal nature, with slides and a speech.

Presentation Submissions

Ruxcon would like to invite people who are interested in security to submit a presentation.
