Cập nhật Bios Laptop không cần Pin (Update bios without battery)
Để có thể cập nhật Bios cho Laptop mà không cần có pin đối với một số máy laptop lâu pin hư không cầm pin. Chỉ cần có adpater cắm điện trực tiếp bạn vẫn có thể cập nhật phiên bản mới nhất của Bios mà không phải làm usb boot hoặc chép file bios và ổ đĩa usb hidrenboot rồi vào win mini chạy file này.
Cách 1: Đối với Win 7 hoặc win 10, bạn chỉ cần gõ CMD vào ô Search rồi nhập phải lên dòng Command Prompt – > click chuột phải chọn Run as Administrator
Sau đó chuẩn bị sẵn file Dell-Bios-A14.exe chép vào ổ C hoặc D hoặc ổ đĩa nào bạn có , nên để trực tiếp tại thư mục gốc như C:\Dell-Bios-A14.exe . Ở đây mình làm ví dụ copy file update này bỏ vào thư mục cá nhân C:\Users\nguoidentubinhduong nên mình dùng lệnh CD ( Change Directory) đển thư mục mình đặt file.
Sau đó gõ lệnh như bên dưới –> Bấm OK để chương trình chạy tiếp và restart lại máy.
Lệnh : > C:\Users\nguoidentubinhduong\Dell-Bios-A14.exe /forceit
Cách 2:
- Download the latest firmware from the Dell support
- Save the exe and create a shortcut with the following parameter: ”
/writehdrfile“ - Start the created shortcut and it will create a n5110a11.hdr file rename the file to N5110.hdr
- Create a shortcut exe file with the following parameter: ”
/writeromfile“ - Start the created shortcut and it will create a n5110a11.rom file rename the file to DQ15A11.rom
- Copy both file N5110.hdrand DQ15A11.rom to a FATformatted pendrive’s root folder
- Remove the charger and Battery from the laptop
- Plug In the pendrive
- Press & hold END
- Connect the charger (still hold END)
- The notebook starts automatically and shows the recovery screen
- Press enter and wait until finish the flashing
- Press esc to restart
- Hopefully problem solved
Cách 3:
Make Bootable FreeDOS USB Drive personally I used Rufus Portable.
Copy the BIOS EXE File.Mine was 3442A14.exe for Inspiron 3542.
Restart computer and press F12 at boot logo.
Boot the USB Drive.
DOS window should appear now type the first letter of the filename and then press tab or type the full name of the file followed by /Forceit
Press Y to continue update.
Update should prepare files the restart and then start updating with percent bar repeated several times and then restart to start Windows with BIOS updated.
Update Bios cho dòng Acer:
- Download the BIOS update from Acer site (ZHK116.EXE)
- Run the downloaded file, you will get an error like “No battery” or “Low battery”, stay on the error dialogue (!)
- Navigate to your current users temp directory (e.g. Users/<username>/AppData/Local/Temp), there should be somewhere a temporary directory containing the extracted files from the EXE file (for me it was 7zS4A88.tmp)
- Save the contents of that temp directory somewhere (you can then close the error dialogue, the temp files will be removed)
- Open the file platform.ini with a text editor and search for the key “AC_Adapter”
- Change parameter BatteryCheck from 1 to 0 or just leave it empty (this disables battery check during BIOS update preparation!), save the file
- Run InsydeFlash.exe in the same directory
- That’s it, bios update should start now
